India's Ministry of Defence said Safran Group CEO, Olivier Andries, has told the country's Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, the company will establish an MRO facility in Hyderabad for CFM LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines. The US$150 million facility will have an initial capacity to overhaul 250 engines a year. “India looks forward to strengthening engagement with SAFRAN as we seek co-development, co-production and capacity building in our defence, industrial and aviation sector,” Singh said in a Twitter post.
Eve Holding said in a regulatory filing its urban air mobility advisory board gathered for the first time in Lisbon on June 14 and June 15.
