AirAsia X has announced Tony Fernandes is now its acting group CEO in addition to his position as a board director of the LCC.

Airbus has appointed Stephen Forshaw its chief representative for Australia and New Zealand. Forshaw will take up the Canberra-based post on August 1. Forshaw is global head of public affairs and managing director for Australia and New Zealand at the Singapore government's investment arm, Temasek. He also has held senior management roles at Singapore Airlines and Microsoft.

Interglobe Aviation, the parent company of Indian LCC, Indigo, said in a regulatory filing to India's BSE stock exchange that Rohini Bhatia has resigned as a non-independent, non-executive director of the company “due to other engagements”.
