Lessor CALC orders 737-800SF converted freighter in expansion of cargo aircraft portfolio

Read More » Work on the aircraft, MSN 20516, will commence this month with delivery scheduled for October. “We are pleased to have AEI as the partner for our first passenger-to-freighter conversion. We are enriching our environmentally sustainable aftermarket and end-of-life solution offerings as part of our ESG initiatives,” CALC CEO, Mike Poon, said. “We will develop this freighter business to exploit in full the utility of our aircraft assets to serve escalating demand for cargo capacity globally. It meets the needs of operators via a prevalent freighter aircraft model and contributes to a greener and sustainable aviation industry.”
