Pratt & Whitney Canada has reported its new PW127XT-M engine will be used on the ATR turboprop fleet now it has received a type certificate from Transport Canada.

SriLankan Engineering has signed a three-year base maintenance agreement with Pakistan’s SereneAir for the carrier's A320s and A330s. As part of the contract, the MRO recently conducted a C-check on one of the airline's A330-200s at its European Union Aviation Safety Agency approved wide-body hangar.
