Thai AirAsia X to expand network to Melbourne and Sydney

Thai AirAsia X (TAAX) will commence nonstop flights from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi to Melbourne and Sydney in December. Read More » The LCC will fly three times a week Suvarnabhumi-Melbourne from December 1 and four times weekly Suvarnabhumi-Sydney the following day. Both routes will be served with A330-300s in a 365 economy and 12 premium seat configuration. “Having recently resumed services to South Korea and Japan we are thrilled to be expanding to Sydney and Melbourne as our next key growth markets,” TAAX acting CEO, Tassapon Bijleveld, said. Malaysia-based AirAsia X has said previously it will expand its international network to Kuala Lumpur-Sydney in September followed by Kuala Lumpur to Melbourne and Perth in November.
