Air France-KLM Group’s MRO arm, AFI KLM E&M, has secured a contract extension from China Airlines for engine support services for GE90s that power the Taiwanese flag carrier's 777Fs.

The MRO also announced South Korea's Air Premia has added two 787-9s to the pair's component support service package, taking the aircraft included in the agreement to 10.

ATR and Japan’s Toki Air have committed to a 10-year global maintenance contract for the airline’s two leased ATR 72-600s. The turboprops are scheduled to start flying with the new domestic carrier in 2023.

De Havilland Aircraft of Canada has announced Alberta’s Wheatland County, 80 km west of Calgary, will be the site of its new facility for the production of its DHC-515 Firefighter aircraft, DHC-6 Twin Otter and Dash 8-400 aircraft programs. “We are working towards bringing the DHC-6 Twin Otter and Dash 8-400 aircraft back to production,” the company said.

Following a successful pilot program, the International Air Cargo Association has launched its BlueSky sustainability verification program backed by 10 inaugural members across the airline, airport, freight forwarder, ground handler and general sales and service agents sectors.
