CDB’s leasing arm terminates sale of four narrow-body aircraft

China Development Bank Financial Leasing said its CDB Aviation Lease Finance unit will not proceed with the sale of three 737-800s and one A321 to Gresham Aircraft Leasing, a lessor established in Dublin in May this year. Read More » CDB Aviation said the transaction was not completed in the time frame specified in the sale and purchase agreement. “The board considers the termination of the transaction will not have any material adverse impact on the business operations and financial position of the group,” the company told the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. The sale and purchase agreement for the four aircraft was announced in June.
