Boeing said Cargolux had finalised an order for 10 777-8F freighters with options for another six of the type. It is confirmation of air cargo carrier’s commitment to Boeing first announced at the Farnborough Airshow in July. The 777-8F is earmarked to replace Cargolux’s 747-400 freighter fleet. In January, Boeing said it expected deliveries of the 777-8F to commence in 2027.
