Air New Zealand domestic passengers top the million mark in September

Air New Zealand (Air NZ) carried 1.1 million passengers on its domestic network in September, up 35.1% from the 789,000 passengers it transported in August. Read More » The September result was more than four times above the 261,000 domestic passengers the airline flew in the same month in 2021. Passenger load factor for the 30 days was 87.5% compared with 84.9% in August and 68.3% in September 2021. Overall, the Star Alliance airline transported 1.5 million domestic and international passengers in September. Compared with pre-COVID-19 levels, the numbers were 12.4% lower than the 1.7 million domestic and international passengers who travelled with Air NZ in September 2019.
