Proposed Vietnam cargo operator grounded before take-off

Vietnam-based IPP Air Cargo has withdrawn plans to launch a dedicated cargo airline due to the state of the market, local media has reported, quoting group chair of IPP's parent company, Imex Pan Pacific Group, Jonathan Nguyen. Read More » The airline, which intended to commence operations by December this year with 737 converted freighters, has withdrawn its application for an air operator certificate. It also has ended the process for obtaining a licence from Vietnam’s transport ministry. IPP Air Cargo would have been Vietnam's first cargo only carrier.
