AirAsia clarifies impact of recent cyber attack

Read More » The company, formerly known as AirAsia Group, was responding to media reports it was subject to a ransomware attack involving the personal data of five million passengers and employees. “The company wishes to clarify the cyber-attack was on redundant systems and did not affect our critical systems,” Capital A informed the Bursa Malaysia stock exchange. “It has taken all measures to immediately resolve this data incident and prevent such future incidents. There has been no operational or financial impact to the company arising from this.”
