British Airways returns to London-Hong Kong after 12-month hiatus

British Airways (BA) has flown its first passenger flight to Hong Kong since December 2021. Read More » BA31 from London Heathrow, operated by 787-9 G-ZBKE, landed at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) at 1500 local time on December 6. “British Airways has always had a strong link to Hong Kong and London has been one of the most popular destinations for our customers in Hong Kong,” BA head of sales for the Asia-Pacific, Noella Ferns, said. “Today we are thrilled to return to Hong Kong and play our part in connecting the two global financial hubs. We have more than 85 years of history and presence in Hong Kong - and still counting.” Initially, the oneworld alliance airline is flying four times a week between the two destinations but it will increase the service to daily from December 19.
