Hong Kong court approves Hong Kong Airlines restructuring

Read More » The court’s green light for the bankrupt carrier’s debt management follows a similar decision handed down by the High Court of Justice of England and Wales on December 9. Creditors backed the scheme on December 1. The effective date for the scheme of arrangement and restructuring plan is December 21, the airline said. “Shortly, the company will arrange for the sealed orders of the Hong Kong Court and the English Court to be filed with the Hong Kong Registrar of Companies and the Registrar of Companies for England and Wales, respectively, a Hong Kong Airlines statement said.
