Region’s airlines flew 507.5% more international passengers in 2022 over 2021

Read More » The 2022 figure was 28.1% of the 375.5 million passengers flown in 2019, the last full year before the COVID-19 global outbreak. “The outlook for 2023 is broadly positive, notably for passenger travel,” AAPA director general, Subhas Menon, said. “The recovery of passenger demand is expected to progress in coming months driven by a strong appetite for travel.”
