Avolon has delivered five 737MAX 8s to Akasa Air in the last two months, its first leasing deal with the India carrier.

Boeing is preparing to eliminate 2,000 jobs in its finance and human relations divisions in 2023, with the intention to outsource the roles.

Malaysia Airports Holdings managing director, Dato' Iskandar Mizal Mahmood, said the company’s Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport is offering all possible support as a rescue and logistics hub since the devastating earthquake of February 6 struck southeast Türkiye.
