Airbus reports 4.25 billion euro annual net profit; supply chain issues hold back recovery

Airbus said net profit rose 1%, to 4.25 billion euro (US$4.5 billion), in calendar 2022 over 4.21 billion euro in the previous year. Read More » Revenue increased 13%, to 58.8 billion euro, the aerospace company said in a regulatory filing of its annual results. “We delivered solid financials despite an adverse operating environment that prevented our supply chain from recovering at the pace we expected,” Airbus CEO, Guillaume Faury, said. Airbus is targeting 720 commercial aircraft deliveries in 2023, up from 661 deliveries in 2022.
