EFW and Sichuan Haite to collaborate on A321P2F conversions

Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH (EFW), centre of excellence for Airbus freighter conversions and Aircraft Maintenance, and Sichuan Haite Hi-Tech, a publicly listed MRO solutions provider for aircraft in China, have signed a Letter of Intent to work together on Airbus (P2F) conversions. Read More » Haite will carry out the conversions for EFW’s A321P2F programme at its Tianjin facility in China. It is the European company’s first third party conversion shop for its A321P2F programme, EFW said. The first type conversion will be undertaken in the third quarter of this year.
EFW’s family of Airbus P2F programmes – A320P2F, A321P2F and A330P2F – are developed in collaboration with ST Engineering and Airbus. EFW holds a Supplemental Type Certificate, leads the overall programmes and the marketing and sales of the converted aircraft. ST Engineering and EFW have set up conversion sites in China and the U.S. and are working with third party conversion houses to complement the established Airbus P2F conversion facilities in Germany and Singapore.
