Malaysia Airports reports US$80 million profit for December quarter

Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) achieved a net profit of 359.1 million ringgit (US$80 million) for the three months to December 31 against a net loss of 136.7 million ringgit in the same quarter in 2021. Read More » Revenue increased 81.9%, to 1 billion ringgit, MAHB said in a regulatory filing. “After a tumultuous period of uncertainty and challenges, passenger traffic is steadily improving and recovering closer to pre-pandemic levels,” MAHB group managing director, Dato' Iskandar Mizal Mahmood, said. “We continue to seek revenue generating opportunities but will be prudent in managing costs to strengthen our financial position.”
