Emirates Airline and Philippine Airlines (PAL) have signed an interline agreement allowing passengers to travel beyond their Dubai and Manila hubs on a one ticket and one baggage policy. Read More » The interline partnership covers 19 domestic and two international destinations served by PAL from Manila and 21 international destinations in Africa, Europe, India and the Middle East operated by Emirates. “We are eager to expand our reach to various international markets and exciting destinations to stimulate business and tourist travel for global citizens and provide better service to our fellow Filipinos living and working in overseas nations,” PAL vice president for sales, Bud Britanico, said. Emirates Airline chief commercial officer, Adnan Kazim, said the Philippines is one of the airline's strongest consumer markets. The interlining will open links for trade and tourism and expand the airline’s footprint in East Asia, he said.
