Air cargo demand declines 14.9% in January

Read More » Against pre-COVID-19 performance, CTKs in 2022 were 11% below January 2019, the airline lobby group's monthly cargo report said. “Last year began under some challenging business conditions,” IATA Director General, Willie Walsh, said. “That was accompanied by persistent uncertainties, including war in Ukraine, inflation, and labour shortages. But there is solid ground for cautious optimism about air cargo. Yields remain higher than pre-pandemic.”
