China issuing visas to foreign visitors for first time in three years

China has opened its international border to foreign travellers after three years of exclusion and is resuming visa issuance into the country. Read More » Still valid visas approved before March 28, 2020 can be used to travel to the Mainland, China has announced. Provinces that do not require visas for international travellers, for example Hainan, will reopen to visa-free travel. For travellers out of China the government has added 40 countries to the list of destinations Mainland tour groups can visit.
