Air China builds equity in Shandong Aviation Group to 66%

Air China’s shareholding in Shandong Aviation Group Corporation has increased to 66%, from 49.4%, after a series of transactions with other parties that has included an equity transfer and a capital injection. Read More » Shandong Aviation Group is the parent company of Shandong Airlines. An Air China statement said: “The company has acquired control of Shandong Aviation Group Corporation. It directly holds 22.8% equity in Shandong Airlines and indirectly holds 42% equity in Shandong Airlines through Shandong Aviation Group Corporation,” Air China said in a regulatory filing. “The company will make a general offer to the shareholders of Shandong Airlines other than the company and Shandong Aviation Group Corporation according to the regulations for the takeover of listed companies.”
