Today's briefs report news from AAR Corp, AirFi, Bhutan Airlines, CFM International, Flight Safety Foundation, Hong Kong International Airport, SITA and ST Engineering. Read More »

Aviation services provider, AAR Corp, reported net profit fell 3.1%, to US$21.8 million in the three months to February 28 compared with the same months in 2022.

Bhutan Airlines A319s have been equipped with IFE from the Netherlands-headquartered company, AirFi. Passengers can now stream movies and television programs to their personal electronic devices during their flights.

CFM International and ST Engineering have signed a CFM branded service agreement (CBSA) for LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines. ST Engineering will provide the full scope of MRO services for all operators of the power plants. ST Engineering is the first shop in Asia to join the LEAP MRO network under a CBSA agreement.

Flight Safety Foundation is establishing an Asia-Pacific centre for aviation safety in Singapore led by pilot and former International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICO) executive, Mitchell Fox, as inaugural director.

SITA will install a carbon management platform to monitor carbon emissions data at Hong Kong International Airport.
