Brisbane Airport has received government approval to build a regional aeromedical base, to be located between the airport’s two runaways and completed in 2024.

CFM International and StandardAero have signed a CFM branded service agreement (CBSA) for LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines. StandardAero will provide the full range of MRO services for all operators of the engine type at its facility in San Antonio in the U.S.

Israel Aerospace Industries, in a social media post, has announced its first 777-300ER to be converted from passenger to cargo use has successfully completed its maiden flight.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) said a number of staff from across the company participated at its three-day biennial learning and innovation for everyone festival, which this year focused on sustainability. “Staff development and continuous training is a cornerstone of the SIA Group’s corporate philosophy,” SIA senior vice president of human resources, Vanessa Ng, said. “Through our signature biennale learning festival, we have the opportunity to engage our people globally about our present and critical agenda.”

Shell Aviation will supply Alaska Air with 10 million gallons (37.9 million litres) of neat sustainable aviation fuel that will be available at Los Angeles Airport.

Travelport has launched a retailing platform for travel agents, Smartpoint Cloud on Travelport+.
