ASL Aviation Holdings has acquired Australia-based charter and aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACM) operator, Pionair, for an undisclosed sum.
From June, Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), the parent company of Malaysia Airlines, will provide greater transparency about its emissions and offer customers the option to offset their emissions through verified carbon offset projects in partnership with Norway-based climate technology company, CHOOOSE.
Food and beverage provider, SATS, has completed the acquisition of global air cargo logistics provider, Worldwide Flight Services, for S$1.8 billion (US$1.4 billion)
Technology provider, SITA, will exit the cabin inflight connectivity (IFC) market on January 31 2025, Runwaygirl Network has reported, citing comments from SITA For Aircraft CEO, Yann Cabaret. “The market is changing and we are changing with it. We decided to exit a highly competitive market, ultimately leaving too little space for an independent IFC service provider like SITA,” Cabaret said.
United Airlines said its United Airlines Ventures sustainable flight fund had invested US$15 million in carbon capture technology company Svante.
