Air Arabia boosts profit

Sharjah-based low-cost carrier Air Arabia recorded a third-quarter net profit of 251 million dirham ($68.3 million), up 22% compared to the 206 million it earned in the year-ago quarter. Read More »
The latest quarter earnings boost its total earnings for the first nine months of 2014 to 498 million dirham, up 46% compared to 341 million for the corresponding period in 2013.
Passenger numbers were up 15% at more than 1.75 million for the quarter. Load factor stood at 80%.
