India’s domestic passenger demand flat for April

Against pre-COVID figures, the April results were 117.2% of the 10.995 million domestic air travellers India’s airlines transported in April 2019. LCC IndiGo was the country’s leading domestic carrier for the 30 days, with 7.4 million passengers, or 57.5% of the domestic market, followed by Tata’s Vistara at 1.12 million passengers (8.7% market share) and Air India at 1.11 million customers (8.6% market share).
