ANA HOLDINGS INC has conducted a demonstration flight at Drone Field KAWACHI in Ibaraki Prefecture with an unmanned aerial vehicle manufactured by German company, Wingcopter GmbH, in a trial that could lead to delivery of blood products in partnership with Tokyo Metropolitan Bokuto Hospital.

Capital A’s engineering and maintenance business, Asia Digital Engineering, unveiled an aircraft parts marketplace, AEROTRADE, and an aircraft health monitoring system, ELEVADE FLEET, at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition.

Bangkok Airways Public Company Ltd will invest 4.7 billion baht (US$136.2 million) to increase its capital in U-Tapao International Aviation Co, the company behind U-Tapao Airport. Bangkok Airways holds 45% of the registered capital of U-Tapao entity, the company that jointly will develop the U-Tapao International Airport Project with The Eastern Economic Corridor Office of Thailand.

A ceremony was held in Seoul last week to mark Korean Air's International Air Transport Association Center of Excellence for Independent Validators certification for air transport of lithium batteries.

Sabre has signed a commitment letter with Centerbridge Partners to refinance US$665 million of its debt via a new senior secured credit facility. The funds will purchase some outstanding debt.
