All Nippon Airways and EL AL launch partnership

Japan-headquartered All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Israel flag carrier, EL AL, said they had signed a commercial agreement covering codesharing and reciprocal frequent flyer benefits. Read More » Under the partnership, ANA would add its NH airline code to EL AL's nonstop flight between Tel Aviv and Tokyo Narita in 2024. EL AL was placing its LY airline code on "select routes" operated by ANA, including domestic services in Japan. "ANA is excited to begin this partnership with EL AL, and we hope that it will provide safe and convenient travel with greater opportunities for both business and leisure passengers between Israel and Japan," ANA CEO, Shinichi Inoue, said. EL AL CEO, Dina Ben Tal Ganancia, said: "With the launch of the EL AL flights between Tel Aviv and Tokyo Narita, we have seen a great deal of interest of travellers between the two countries. The cooperation between EL AL and ANA is an important element in ensuring the success of this route."
