Hong Kong Airlines to return to Chongqing and Sanya

Hong Kong Airlines said it was resuming nonstop flights Chongqing and Sanya over the next month as it built out its Mainland China network to nine destinations amid growing demand for air travel. Read More » The Hong Kong carrier's daily service to Chongqing was due to take off from June 15, while daily flights to Sanya were scheduled to commence on July 1. Hong Kong Airlines was also adding seven flights a week to Hangzhou, lifting its frequencies on the route to 10 times weekly. "Regional and international travel is picking up since the easing of global travel restrictions, with a surge expected this summer," Hong Kong Airlines said, adding the routes also provided "flexible transit options" for travellers.
