Vistara expands codeshare with Lufthansa

India-headquartered Vistara and Germany’s flag carrier, Lufthansa, are including more cities in a codeshare partnership they established in 2019. Read More » Vistara has added its UK airline code on Lufthansa-operated flights to 12 cities in Europe, while Lufthansa's LH airline code is on Vistara services from Delhi to nine cities in India. Vistara chief commercial officer, Deepak Rajawat, said the expanded codeshare was a “testament” to the airline's “continued commitment to offering enhanced connectivity, world-class service and a wide range of options” to its customers. Lufthansa Group head of communications Asia-Pacific and chief spokesperson, Jeffrey James, added: “As the third largest aviation market globally, India remains a key focus for our group. We are delighted to strengthen our relationship with Vistara, offering Indian travellers more choices, more options and more connectivity between Europe and the subcontinent.”
