Air France Industries KLM Engineering and Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) has expanded its Philippine Airlines (PAL) partnership with an engine support agreement for PAL’s CFM56-5B engine stock that powers its A320s. In other AFI KLM E&M news, the MRO announced two long-term contracts for engine, component, aero structure and auxiliary power unit (APU) services on CMA CGM Group's two 777F freighters, a maintenance contract for seven CF6-80C2 engines with SF Airlines and an APU support contract for Air Austral's A220s.

Airbus has recruited 7,000 of the 13,000 staff it aims to employ in calendar 2023, including recruits in the areas of cyber security, software engineering and new propulsion technologies.

Air freight booking and marketing platform, cargo.one, has added cargo capacity from China Eastern Airlines and China Cargo Airlines in partnership with Shanghai-headquartered Eastern Air Logistics.

Embraer and GKN Aerospace have signed a collaboration agreement to work on a potential hydrogen flight demonstrator.

Honeywell and SIA Engineering have announced two Memorandums of Agreement to establish a cooperative relationship for repair and supply activities of several Honeywell product lines.

Pratt & Whitney has signed orders and commitments for more than 800 GTF engines to date in 2023.
