It has been a course-setting week in Asia-Pacific as Malaysia Airlines Berhad boss, Peter Bellew, revealed he wanted to sell the carrier’s A380 fleet, Singapore Airlines (SIA) said it would not renew the lease on its first A380 and Thai Airways International (THAI) had to delay its A350 launch to Melbourne. Emirates Airline is still seriously considering the introduction of a premium economy cabin and China Airlines (CAL) said its Tigerair Taiwan budget unit has until year-end to shape up or ship out.
