Tokyo Narita airport processed 2.6 million passengers in May

Tokyo Narita Airport said more 2.6 million passengers passed through the airport in May, more than double the 1.1 million passengers the airport recorded in the same month in 2022. Compared with pre-COVID-19 levels, the greater Tokyo airport’s passenger numbers for the month were 70.4% of the 3.6 million passengers the airport processed in May 2019. Aircraft movements were 76.5% of the 22,335 take-offs and landings carried out in the same month four years ago.
