Qantas Group reaffirms profit guidance

Read More » The airline group, Qantas Airways and Jetstar, has predicted it will fly about four million passengers in the June-July school holiday period. “Travel demand remains strong. Data shows consumers continue to prioritise travel over other spending categories,” Qantas Group said. “The group remains on track to deliver the financial performance for fiscal year 2023 outlined in its May market update.” Last month, the company forecast its underlying profit before tax for 2022-2023 will range from A$2.43 billion (US$1.6 billion) to A$2.48 billion. It recorded an underlying loss before tax of A$1.86 billion in the year-ago period.
