Hong Kong Airlines adds three A330-300s to fleet

Read More » The first additional A330-300 to join the long-haul carrier flew its inaugural route, Hong Kong-Bangkok on June 21. The remaining two wide-bodies will begin flying in the northern hemisphere summer season. “During the recent Dragon Boat Festival holiday, our ticket sales were strong, reaching a peak since the pandemic began,” Hong Kong Airlines chair, Hou Wei, said. “Load factor exceeded pre-pandemic levels by 7%. The result is quite encouraging as our profitability has significantly improved. It also demonstrates our flight resumption efforts this year continue to gain traction.” All the A330-300s are configured to carry 32 business and 260 economy passengers.
