Starlux CEO announces airline headed to San Francisco

Starlux Airlines founder and chair, Chang Kuo-wei, has confirmed the Taiwan-headquartered carrier will add nonstop Taipei-San Francisco to its network from December. Read More » No specific start date for the route was disclosed, but Chang told shareholders at the airline’s annual general meeting San Francisco will be served three times a week and then increase to daily, local media reports. San Francisco is Starlux's second destination in North America, following the introduction of Taipei Taoyuan-Los Angeles in April. Other destinations Starlux is considering are Jakarta, Seattle and Singapore, Chang said.
