China’s largest airline and Malaysia’s flag carrier agree to codeshare

China Southern Airlines (CSA) and Malaysia Airlines have established a partnership covering flights between Guangzhou and Kuala Lumpur. Read More » CSA has added its CZ airline code on the three times a week Malaysia Airlines service to Guangzhou and the Malaysian carrier has its MH airline code on CSA's 21 flights weekly between the two cities. “Since April 2023, we have resumed all our services to Guangzhou, Xiamen, Beijing and Shanghai,” Malaysia Aviation Group CEO of airlines, Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi, said. “We look forward to growing our presence, including within China, by expanding our codeshare partnership with CSA and extending our signature Malaysian Hospitality service to their passengers.” CSA senior vice president of marketing and deputy director general of the commercial steering committee, Zhang Dongsheng said: “The two sides will expand cooperation to Beijing Daxing-Kuala Lumpur and other China-Malaysia routes to bring more products and better services to business travellers, Chinese visiting relatives, tourists and leisure guests in the Chinese and Malaysian markets.”
