China Airlines and ITA Airways commence Taiwan-Italy codeshare

Taiwan’s China Airlines (CAL) and Italy's ITA Airways, both members of the SkyTeam airline marketing alliance, have launched a codeshare covering flights between Taiwan and Italy. Read More » ITA Airways now has its AZ airline code on CAL's three times a week Taipei Taoyuan-Rome Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino route. “Code sharing with ITA Airways nonstop Taipei to Rome will generate more revenue and provide enhanced access to regional destinations in Italy,” CAL said. The airline has placed its CI airline code on ITA Airways-operated flights within Italy. CAL has made the transit market for travel between Europe and Southeast Asia a strategic focus.
