EVA Airways surpasses pre-COVID passenger numbers; latest traffic update reports

Taiwan’s EVA Airways transported 983,146 passengers last month, 109% of the 901,898 passengers the airline carried in pre-pandemic June 2019. Read More » The Star Alliance member earned passenger revenue of TW$12.7 billion (US$405 million) for the 30 days, 177% of the TW$7.2 billion recorded in the same month four years ago. In more recent comparisons, the June results were an improvement of 8.4% from the 906,660 customers EVA flew in May and 17 times higher than the 57,370 passengers it carried in the same month in 2022. Passenger revenue for the 30 days increased 16.9%, from TW$10.9 billion in May, and was more than 10 times higher than the TW$1.2 billion of June last year.
