In preparation for peak winter demand, SpiceJet has restored two aircraft to flying in a revival plan funded by US$50 million from the government's emergency credit line guarantee scheme (ECLG) and “internal cash accruals”. Additionally, three Q400 turboprops will be inducted into the SpiceJet fleet “following a settlement agreement with Nordic Aviation Capital”, alongside 10 737s. SpiceJet has appointed EaseMyTrip as a general sales agent for selected markets in India. In May, the Mumbai LCC said 25 grounded aircraft would be returned to service following the injection of the ECLG funds into the carrier.
