Korean Air building North Asia network after capacity hits 82% of pre-COVID 2019

Seoul Incheon-Changsha resumed a five times a week rotation on July 19 and Incheon-Wuhan and Incheon-Weihai will take off on September 24 and September 27, respectively, the SkyTeam alliance member said. To Japan, KAL will operate double daily Busan-Fukuoka and daily Busan-Nagoya from September 27. “At July 2023, the airline’s available seat kilometres were approximately 82% of pre-pandemic levels, indicating a significant recovery in capacity,” KAL said. “Korean Air will continue to restore its network and capacity and offer diverse schedules to meet international passenger demand.”
