Embraer’s losses widen to US$178.1 million in first half 2023

Embraer has booked net losses of US$178.1 million for the six months to June 30 against a US$89.6 million net loss in the same months in 2022. The Brazil-headquartered OEM reported 24 commercial aircraft deliveries in interim calendar 2023, up from 17 a year ago. Embraer said US$700 million of additional firm commercial aircraft sales will be included in its third quarter backlog.
