China Airlines records 4.7% month-on-month passenger growth in July

The SkyTeam alliance member earned NT$9.6 billion in passenger revenue for the 31 days, down 10.5% from the NT$10.7 billion of the previous month. On a year-on-year basis, passenger revenue was 462% higher than the NT$1.7 billion the carrier achieved in the same month in 2022. CAL's July passenger numbers and revenue were 62% and 102.4%, respectively, of the 1.4 million air travellers and the NT$9.4 billion sales recorded in pre-COVID July 2019.
