Lessor CALC recovers to a US$26 million interim profit

China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings (CALC) has announced a net profit of HK$201.2 million (US$26 million) for the six months to June 30, returning to black ink from a net loss of HK$130.2 million in the same months in 2022. Read More » Revenue improved 23%, to HK$2.3 billion, CALC said in a Hong Kong regulatory filing. “In first half 2023, we saw the fast rebuilding and a near full recovery in global aviation, exhibiting the strong resilience of the sector,” CALC CEO, Mike Poon, said. “CALC has regained momentum and delivered another set of strong results backed by an accelerating market recovery.”
