Malaysia Airports Group reports US$22 million quarterly profit

Malaysia Airports Group (MAG) managing director, Dato’ Sri Iskandar Mizal Mahmood, said the company's recent transformation initiatives had started to deliver results after the business posted a net profit of 102.5 million ringgit (US$22 million) for the June quarter compared with a net loss of 58.2 million ringgit in the same months in 2022. Read More » Revenue increased 78.6%, to 1.2 billion ringgit, MAG said in a regulatory filing. “We are seeing better cost efficiency across our operations, improved commercial revenue and are gaining momentum in earnings growth in Malaysia and Türkiye,” Dato' Sri Iskandar said.
