Air China shrinks interim losses to US$475 million

Air China has booked a net loss of 3.4 billion yuan (US$475 million) for the six months to June 30 compared with a net loss of 19.4 billion yuan in interim 2022. Read More » Revenue was higher by 149%, at 59.6 billion yuan, Air China said in a regulatory filing. “The group significantly increased transport capacity for the domestic market and diligently developed domestic express routes to enhance its competitive advantages,” Air China said. “Seizing the opportunities arising from the rapid recovery of the international market, the group has steadily scaled up its investments and expanded the operation of international routes.”
