India and New Zealand to liberalise bilateral air services agreement

The governments of India and New Zealand have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly improve air connectivity between the two countries. Read More » The MoU was announced at a meeting between New Zealand Minister of Agriculture, Biosecurity, Land Information and Trade and Export Growth, Damien O'Connor, and India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Textile and Consumer Affairs and Food & and Distribution, Shri Piyush Goyal, in Delhi. “Ministers acknowledged the desirability of improving air connectivity between New Zealand and India and welcome the finalisation of the Memorandum of Understanding to further liberalise the bilateral Air Services Agreement between the two countries,” a joint statement said. The agreement advanced code-sharing flight opportunities between Auckland and New Delhi, O’Connor added.
