Abu Dhabi Airport’s new midfield terminal, Terminal A, is scheduled to start operations in November.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) reports sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) produced increased to 0.24Mt in 2022 from 0.08Mt in 2021 and 0.05Mt in 2020. Despite the uptick, IATA said SAF production remained very low, at about 1% of the overall volume of jet fuel.

China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co has recorded a net profit of 1.96 billion yuan (US$270 million) for the six months to June 30, little changed from 1.95 billion yuan in the same months in 2022. Revenue slipped 6.5%, to 10.8 billion yuan, the company said in a regulatory filing.
