Bangkok Airways launches codeshares with Singapore Airlines

Bangkok Airways said it had launched a new codeshare partnership with Singapore Airlines (SIA) covering routes between Singapore and Thailand, as well as destinations in Oceania and Southeast Asia. Read More » As part of the agreement, Bangkok Airways has added its PG airline code on SIA-operated flights from Singapore to Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand, Adelaide and Sydney in Australia, and Auckland in New Zealand. SIA has added its SQ airline code on Bangkok Airways-operated flights on eight routes – Singapore-Koh Samui, Phuket-Koh Samui, Bangkok-Chiang Mai, Bangkok-Koh Samui, Bangkok-Phuket, Bangkok-Luang Prabang in Laos and from Bangkok to Phnom Penh and Siem Reap in Cambodia. "The codeshare arrangement of both airlines will enhance connectivity to destinations across both airlines’ networks, providing customers with more travel options," Bangkok Airways said. "Customers will also enjoy greater convenience as they will be able to make their flight reservations in a single booking, and enjoy through check-in of their cabin baggage."
